In April 2016, Isaac IV traveled to Pittsburgh to hone his Oriental rug repair skills at a class put on by Rug Restoration Seminars. While there, he learned not just how to do the work, but why it needs to be done. Having a deeper understanding of your rugs’ construction is vital to properly repairing it.

While in Pittsburgh, Isaac overcast the ends of several rugs, applied new side cords, patched holes in rugs, attached new fringes, and even got to unravel and take apart a rug!

The skills he perfected are being put to good use every day!
